Home to the highest mountain in England and Wales with Yr Eyrie (Snowdon) and with a host of iconic mountains such as Tryfan, the Glyderau,, Cadair Idris, Carnedd Dafydd and Carnedd Llewellyn, Snowdonia has much to offer the photographer. As well providing a spectacular location to fulfill my other hobby as a hill walker. This dual draw often has me in two minds as the walker in me wants to travel as light and long as possible to enjoy the mountains to their utmost, whilst the photographer wants to drag as much equipment as possible to ensure i capture the essence of the mountains and its weather in all their glory. I think the only answer to this is to keep going back to ensure enough trips are made to fulfill both desires!
